Richard Scott

Richard (Ricky) Scott, the Science Curriculum Director for the Tooele County School District in Tooele, Utah. Prior to this, Ricky worked as the Secondary Science Specialist at the Utah State Board of Education and in that role led the creation and adoption of the Utah Science with Engineering Education (SEEd) Standards. He is currently an advisory committee member for the development of the 2028 National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) Science Exam. He has served as a Board Member for the Council of State Science Supervisors (CSSS) and Utah Science Teaching Association (UtSTA). He will advise on Utah SEEd Standards alignment and appropriate strategies to share the products created by participating teachers statewide.
