Kelly Peterson is a teacher at North Sevier High School. He began his teaching career in 2006 and currently teaches Biology, Biotechnology, ACT Prep, Earth and Space Science, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy and Science Research. He began his teaching career in 2006. He graduated from USU with a bachelors degree in Animal Science and a masters degree in Genetics. Prior to his teaching career Kelly was a research scientist for Myriad Genetics and Myriad Pharmaceuticals. Kelly grew up in Loa, UT where he developed a love of caring for the land and livestock. Kelly enjoys learning and teaching science because there are literally millions of potentially interesting things in the world and universe to see, to do, and to learn from. Kelly finds joy in the mountains through hiking, biking, horse riding and 4 wheeling.
