Technology-Mediated Lesson Study overcomes geographic isolation faced by rural science teachers, enabling collaborative professional development despite distance barriers. This longitudinal study demonstrates how TMLS creates robust professional networks, supports teachers implementing new science standards, and provides rich learning opportunities for rural educators traditionally lacking collegial support.
