Using SEEd and 3D Science to Transform Your Teaching
As participants in the 3-Dimensional Rural Science Teacher Grant, during the last year we have collaborated with other rural science educators in the crafting of lessons with very intentional application of Science and Engineering Practices, Cross Cutting Concepts, and Disciplinary Core Ideas. Trouble in the Water: Designing Solutions to Harmful Algal Blooms is one such lesson that leads students through the process of solving a problem with a meaningful local water system concern. Participants will be guided through the lesson and learn how to intentionally integrate 3-Dimensional Science in their own classrooms.
