In 2001, Valorie Draper began her teaching career in Twin Falls, Idaho as a 3rd Grade teacher and then a Physical Education teacher. She took a 14 year hiatus to raise and begin homeschooling 5 children, plus coaching the Brigham Young University racquetball team. In 2018, her family moved to Manila, Utah, where she was hired as a teacher at Manila Elementary School teaching Physical Education. After a year, she moved across the street to the Manila Jr/Sr High School to teach 7th & 8th Grade Integrated Science, Earth & Space Science, Biology, Health Sciences, and Physical Education. Valorie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education and Biology from Brigham Young University in 2000. She has received her endorsements in Science Core 6-8 and Science Integrated Earth Sci 2 (almost). Valorie is the Science Department as well as the Science Fair Chairperson for Daggett School District. She serves on several committees in her school district and enjoys serving in the community. Valorie loves being a wife and mother, especially when they are doing anything together in the great outdoors. She coaches several sports and finds much happiness in being active and doing her part to make the Earth a better place to enjoy and live.
