Julie Castellon

Julie Castellon is a lifelong educator who has been in the classroom for over 25 years. She has been lucky enough to teach at Box Elder Middle School, South Ogden Jr. High, Whitehorse High School, Utah Virtual Academy, Albert R Lyman Middle School and is currently teaching at her alma mater, San Juan High, in Blanding, Utah. She has had the opportunity to teach 7th and 8th grade Science, Chemistry, Earth Science, Environmental Science, Forensics as well as Math 7 and 8, Secondary Math I. She is currently teaching her number one passion, Biology! Julie graduated from Southern Utah University in 1991 with a composite major in Botany and Zoology and a secondary teaching certificate. She never teaches the exact same way twice as she is constantly working to learn and improve her curriculum and teaching strategies. Julie is the proud mother of a son and three daughters and she is learning how to transition to be the parent of adult children, which is harder than it looks. She is happiest when on the beach surrounded by her family.
