Jami Slack

Jami is a Biology and Earth and Space Science teacher at Canyon View High School in Cedar City. She started her teaching career at Canyon View Middle School, where she taught 6 years. Initially, Jami graduated from Southern Utah University in 2006 with a major in Biology, minor in Chemistry, and no plans to go into education. However, plans changed and she went back to school in 2011 to become a secondary science teacher. Being passionate about education and science, teaching is where Jami belongs and she enjoys molding teenagers into science nerds and critical thinkers. In her free time, Jami enjoys spending time in nature with her three adventurous children and their dog.
