Dr. Heather Leary, co-PI, Assistant Professor of Instructional Psychology & Technology at BYU, is an educational researcher with experience and expertise in design-based implementation research, designing and implementing professional learning for teachers, technology integration, and K-12/university partnerships. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship with the Institute of Cognitive Science at CU Boulder, where she studied teacher professional learning about 3D science lesson design. She continues to work with local schools and districts designing and implementing professional learning focused on their problems of practice. PI Leary will take primary responsibility for overseeing the social network analysis including working with Dr. Alan Daly. She will assist with the qualitative data collection and analysis. She will also assist with the design and deployment of the summer professional learning workshop. Leary will be the primary mentor for the two graduate students at BYU.
