Advancing Three-Dimensional Science Instruction with Rural Teachers Using Technology-Mediated Lesson Study
Technology-mediated lesson Study (TMLS) helps connect rural science teachers and helps them improve their knowledge and implementation of three-dimensional (3D) science in classrooms. Improved 3D knowledge can be attributed to repeated professional developmental training in 3D science, group development and observation of 3D science lessons, and evaluation of lessons with a 3D lens. All participating teachers grew in understanding and capability in 3D science, no matter their starting level of understanding.
